The Challenge

Everyone relaxes differently. Some people fall asleep to rain, others focus best with soft piano and birdsong. Ready-made tracks can’t fit every mood, so Luvia set out to let users create their own.

More than a playlist. Users needed to combine several sounds at once, not just play one track.

Mixing on the fly. People wanted to adjust each sound while listening, without stopping playback.

Keeping and sharing favourites. Users needed to save their perfect mix, export it and come back to it anytime.

Listening anywhere. Soundscapes had to play smoothly, even without an internet connection.

What We Did

Built live sound mixing. Users layer nature recordings, musical instruments and ambient sounds and adjust each one while it plays.

Made creating a soundscape easy. Simple steps help users pick sounds and instruments and shape them into a mix that suits their routine.

Let users save their mixes. Favourite soundscapes are saved in one tap and ready whenever the user needs them.

Added soundscape export. Users can export their finished mix and take it with them, with a simple flow that guides them to the end.

Added offline listening. Downloaded sounds play without the internet, at home or on the go.

Added sleep and meditation timers. Sound fades out gently when the timer ends, so nothing jolts the user awake.

Designed a calm, simple interface. Clear controls make it easy to adjust layers, manage saved mixes and return to favourite soundscapes.
