Client: Outpatient clinic

Industry: Healthcare & Telemedicine

Platforms: iOS, Android

Timeline: 4 months

Team: 5 specialists

Technology: Flutter, Firebase

Our role: Technical leadership and full platform development

Result: 21,400 patients registered in 6 months

Key Results

21,400 patients - registered in the first six months

4,800+ - online consultations completed

57% faster - to book an appointment

+44% - more patients coming back

+38% - more clinic capacity with no new clinical hires

The Challenge

The clinic ran on phone calls and paper. Patients had to call to book, come in just to get a repeat prescription, and could rarely see a doctor remotely. Doctors had no single view of their appointments or patient histories.

The clinic couldn’t see more patients without hiring more staff.

Booking by phone. Every appointment needed a call and manual coordination.

Visits just for prescriptions. Patients came in only to collect repeat medication.

Scattered records. Doctors had no clear history before each consultation.

Limited capacity. Growth meant more admin work and more hires.

What We Did

Added online consultations. Patients talk to their doctor by chat or video, and doctors record each consultation in the app.

Made prescriptions digital. Patients get their prescriptions securely in the app, with no extra clinic visit for repeat medication.

Automated appointment booking. Patients book based on doctors’ real-time availability, and automatic reminders cut down missed appointments.

Gave doctors the full picture. Structured consultation histories are ready to review before every appointment.

Built an operations dashboard. The clinic tracks consultation volumes, doctor workload, scheduling and patient flow in one place.

Built one app for iOS and Android. Simple flows for both patients and doctors, secure communication and a platform ready to scale.

Delivered in four months. Our team led the technical approach and built the full platform from booking to follow-up.

The Result

In the first six months, the clinic moved a large part of its care online and served more patients with the same team.

  • 21,400 patients registered
  • 4,800+ online consultations
  • 57% faster appointment booking
  • 44% higher patient retention
  • 38% more capacity without new clinical hires

About the Project

This telemedicine platform covers the full outpatient journey, from scheduling to consultation and follow-up. Time2Launch led the technical approach and delivered the iOS and Android apps in four months with a team of five: two mobile developers, a full-stack engineer, a product designer and a project manager who also handled QA.

The platform uses Firebase for push notifications and real-time updates. Key features include chat and video consultations, digital prescriptions, availability-based appointment booking with automated reminders, centralised consultation histories and a healthcare operations dashboard.

The project reflects our experience in cross-platform app development for healthcare. Building a telemedicine, clinic or patient app? See our Flutter app development and cybersecurity services.
