Starting a conversation in online dating is hard, and keeping it going is even harder. Many people don’t know what to say first, run out of ideas after a few messages or struggle to strike the right tone.
Rizz Effect set out to build an assistant that turns a simple idea into a natural, personal message in seconds.
Blank-screen moments. Users didn’t know how to start a conversation.

Rizz Effect is an AI-powered messaging assistant for online dating that generates personalised openers, replies and conversation ideas in different tones. Time2Launch led its development from concept to launch, working with a team of mobile developers and a UI/UX designer.
The app is built with Flutter for iOS and Android and uses the OpenAI API with GPT-4 and custom prompt engineering for context-aware suggestions. Firebase provides authentication, Cloud Firestore, analytics and push notifications, with REST API integration and optimised AI response handling for fast results.
