Millions of people have limited access to traditional banking. Crypto wallets can help, but most of them feel complicated and technical. Aryl set out to make digital payments as simple as messaging a friend.
Crypto that feels complicated. Managing a wallet and tokens had to be easy for everyday users, not just crypto experts.
Payments in many forms. Users needed to send, receive and request both crypto and regular currencies.
Price swings. Crypto prices can change quickly while a payment is being prepared.
Turning crypto into cash. Users needed a simple way to convert digital assets into regular money.
Built a secure Ethereum wallet. Users hold ETH and ERC-20 tokens, with their wallet keys stored only on their own iPhone.
Made payments simple. Sending, receiving and requesting money takes just a few taps, with clear steps at every stage.
Added payments to iMessage. Users can request or send money right inside a conversation, without opening the wallet.
Built the Volatility Shield. Funds can be kept in a more stable currency and converted into crypto only when a payment is sent, which helps reduce exposure to sudden price changes.
Connected an exchange. Integration with the Rubiex exchange lets users convert crypto into regular currencies inside the Aryl ecosystem.
Led iOS development. Our team set feature priorities, estimated and planned sprints, reviewed code and tested every release to keep quality high.

Aryl is a decentralised cryptocurrency wallet for iOS built around the Ethereum ecosystem, created to widen access to financial services for people underserved by traditional banks. It supports ETH, ERC-20 tokens and fiat payments.
